Experienced. Certified. Supportive.
Why work with me?
In my practice, I specialize in providing therapy to men (and the women that love them) and the daily problems they face. Whether it is a glitch in communication, dealing with stress from work, or generally feeling “stuck in a rut”, we will work to build a plan that is best fit for you.
I am committed to helping my clients better understand what they are going through and that it is OK to be feeling this way. Life never takes a break or slows down for us. Sometimes we need that extra support in our corner when it becomes too much to deal with.
In addition to this, I work with couples who feel disconnected or are just hoping to get back to how things were. We work to find the strengths that each person brings to the relationship and how to make the most out of them.
Above all else, I want you to be happier and more confident about ‘you’. Together we will work towards not just accepting our circumstances, but learning how to overcome them. Our goal is always the same, to help you on the path to feeling stronger, healthier, and more in control.
Why did you choose this specialty?
Let’s be honest, men work differently than women. Historically, men have trouble talking about feelings (or admitting that they have them). It is considered ‘normal’ to keep stuffing down and ignoring what is going on inside, which usually leads a rather unfavorable situation. I know this because I was the exact same way. It wasn’t until I myself reached out and said “Hey! I need help!” That is why I went down this path, to help others recognize that it is a strength, not a weakness, to work on being a better version of you.
